Mobile World Congress 2025 was a defining moment for Europe's digital future. From groundbreaking discussions on 6G, AI, and network innovation to innovative demonstrations from over 30 SNS JU-funded projects, we showcased how Europe is leading the way in next-generation connectivity. From the opening session to the closing remarks, one message was clear: the future of connectivity is being built today, through #collaboration, #research, and #innovation. With €1.8 billion invested in 6G research and over 80 projects already driving progress, Europe is setting the stage for a more competitive, resilient, intelligent and sustainable digital ecosystem.
ESCAPE to the Future took place between 25 and 26 October 2022, at the Royal Belgium Institute of Natural Sciences, located in Brussels (Belgium). What: As the ESCAPE project is coming to its end, the members of the cluster shared their results and achievements, and discussed the future of the ESCAPE Collaboration. ESCAPE to the Future was dedicated to present ESCAPE services, achievements, future challenges and good practices. Audience: ESCAPE project members, as well as members of other Science Clusters, EOSC-Association members, ESFRI and other Research Infrastructure representatives. Astrophysics, Particle and Nuclear Physics scientific community members and all those interested in the ESCAPE services and in EOSC overall.
The Blue-Cloud community gathered in Brussels on 8 December 2022 for the final conference organised at the beautiful Residence Palace, welcoming representatives from the European Parliament, the European Commission DG RTD, the EOSC governance, the EU Digital Twin of the Ocean initiatives as well as researchers and end users from the European marine research community. It was the perfect opportunity to learn about the main achievements and the road ahead of this key component of this exciting journey and to officially introduce the new project that will ensure follow-up of Blue-Cloud achievements until 2026.
During 5G Techritory Forum in Riga, Latvia, the SNS ICE partners co-organised and participated in multiple co-creation sessions, including panels, workshops and podcast recordings, addressing topics such as verticals, NTN, trials & pilots and diversity in tech.
